I have officially finished refining Chapter 6, 7, and 8 of Heartstruck and I am now moving forward into Chapters 9. Chapter 6 took significantly longer to complete than expected due to the number of characters involved and the multiple locations that needed to be revisited. Each space required careful lighting, texturing, and character re-posing to ensure the emotional tone of the confrontation was clear and consistent throughout the chapter. Below is a video of the refined Chapter 6 as it currently stands:
As for Chapters 7 and 8, both took place primarily in a single location, which allowed for a faster workflow and refinement compared to the earlier chapters. Much of the groundwork established in Chapter 6, especially in terms of lighting direction and character performance, has carried forward into these scenes. Here is how these chapters came out:
While I am happy with the overall progress, I am still actively troubleshooting a few technical issues for future renders. One recurring problem is related to hair rendering, where Alisa’s hair occasionally appears brighter than intended despite being set to a dark brown. I am currently working through Unreal Engine settings and groom behavior to resolve this inconsistency.

Overall, I am pleased with the progress so far and feel that the project is moving in the right direction. I look forward to sharing updates on Chapter 9 soon as it is the final chapter I need to refine for the film to go into its next stage. Thank you for following the journey of Heart-Struck!
