Hello everyone,

As we enter 2026, I am resuming development on Heart-Struck and moving deeper into the refinement phase of the project. I am currently working through Chapters 6–9, with a focused effort on strengthening their visual cohesion, pacing, and emotional clarity over the coming weeks.

I am also happy to announce that I have a voice actress for the project, along with beginning early sound design work! In the coming weeks, I will begin recording dialogue and hopefully have custom soundtracks for the film. These additions will play a significant role in reinforcing the psychological tone of the film as it continues to develop.

At present, my primary focus is on Chapter 6. While a finalized video pass is not yet ready for presentation, I am including several rendered stills below to illustrate the current state of the chapter and its visual direction:

Currently, I am actively retexturing the environments to make a nice balance between realism and stylization. This balance is essential, as it allows the lighting to progressively carry more narrative weight as the story unfolds.

One challenge I encountered during this involved MetaHuman clothing glitches and mesh stretching, mainly on background characters. After troubleshooting, I identified an issue related to LOPSYNC settings. By setting all character LOPSYNC values to 1 instead of -1, it ensured that each character consistently maintained the highest quality at all times. Learning this, I can now apply this to previous chapters when I go back to refine them once more.

My goal is to complete a refined pass of Chapter 6 in the near future so I can proceed to the remaining chapters. Once all chapters are refined, I plan to return for a final pass refinement across the entire film.

Thank you for continuing to follow the development of Heart-Struck. I will be sharing further updates soon.
