Heart-struck is moving forward into its production stage. Chapter 2, the moment Alisa first collides with Damien, has now been refined past the blockout stage. What was once a simple setup of cameras and poses has become a more deliberate sequence with refined lighting, pacing, and performance. Here is how chapter 2 has turned out:

The heartbeat that carries through this chapter is now more present visually and emotionally. Alisa’s slow walk through the hallway feels more focused, with shafts of light and subtle animation choices creating the unease and intimacy I always wanted from this scene. The collision itself has shifted into a slow-motion beat, allowing the moment to breathe and linger before the story continues.

To show the progress, I’ve included a comparison of the blockout version and the refined version below. The changes may seem small on the surface, but together they capture the mood I’ve been working toward: romantic, uneasy, and unforgettable.

This refinement is one step closer to what the final film will look and feel like. Next, I’ll be turning my attention to building the presence of other students in the world and continue working on the other chapters. Thank you for following along as Heart-struck continues to take shape.
